Suntegrity Recalls Sunscreen Foundation Due to Mold Contamination

Suntegrity Skincare voluntarily recalled nine lots of their Impeccable Skin Sunscreen Foundation due to potential mold contamination. The recall is out of caution as some tubes showed higher than acceptable mold levels during testing. Here is a quick summary:

• Suntegrity Skincare initiated a voluntary recall of their Impeccable Skin Sunscreen Foundation (multiple shades) on May 24, 2024🔁

• The recall is due to higher-than-acceptable levels of mold (Aspergillus Sydowii) found in some tubes of Lot 115BU📈

• The mold was discovered during a recent test and developed after the product's release🧫

• As a precaution, Suntegrity recalled eight additional lots (107IV, 107NU, 109NU, 117BU, 113SA, 114SA, 106BR, and 101MO) even though previous tests showed no issues📝

• Using contaminated sunscreen could potentially cause allergic skin reactions, fungal infections (especially on open wounds or sunburns), or eye infections🦠

• No adverse effects were reported at the time of the recall❌
